BUSINESS CASE

Our UAV is useful for businesses like farms, garden centers and stores, local Parks and Recreation branches, or any business maintaining large sums of plants. As our drone is able to observe the health of plants, any business which preserves plants could benefit from our UAV. Farms would benefit from our UAV as it could collect data on areas where crops may thrive, or others struggle, informing farmers of the ideal location for crops. Additionally, collecting data on crop health would help farmers predict annual crop yields. Our UAV would benefit large garden centers and stores by indicating which plants are unhealthy and should not be sold. Also, our drone would help locate sicknesses is plants quickly and notify store owners, allowing owners to address the issues. Lastly, our UAV could help rangers at parks as it would be able survey gigantic distances, surveying for diseased plants. Rangers could then address the sick plants to ensure that the disease does not spread. Our UAV would help rangers who cannot possibly observe all plant life in the parks they maintain.
