Evan Thomas
My name is Evan Thomas, I’m a senior at ESUMS and in charge of making our RWDC engineering notebook as well as conceptualizing the design for our drone solution. I have been passionate about engineering and aircraft since I was in middle school, and have shown love for building and marvelling at my own work since I built my first LEGO Technic sets as a child. I am always happy to learn as much as I can about designing new engineering solutions, as it’s what I intend to do with my life post-college. Outside of my academic life, I enjoy watching movies and playing Dungeons and Dragons with my friends every week.
Issac Evans
Isaac is part of the 3D modeling team for this drone. The role of the 3D modeling team is design parts so that we can build a drone. Whether or not we actually use the parts is something to be decided later on because of cost. What has been done so far is intense research of different drone designs and drone parts so that he’ll have something that to model off. Other quality work that has been done by Isaac is reviewing the modeling software and creating rough models of the drone body.However in order to create an accurate body it will take a lot of time,information,and skill which is what Isaac is striving to do.
